Moss has officially reopened its flagship store on Oxford Street West, unveiling a major refurbishment aimed at elevating the brand’s customer experience. Spanning 5,038 sq ft across three floors, the redesigned store reflects Moss’s evolution into a modern, omni-channel retailer while remaining rooted in its tailoring heritage.
The relaunch on Tuesday 27 May 2025 marks a significant milestone for the brand, with CEO Brian Brick stating: “Men today don’t just want to look good—they want to feel confident in what they wear. That means clothes that fit well, feel great, and suit their day, wherever that takes them. Our role is to take the stress out of getting dressed – combining style with service that makes the whole experience effortless.”

Already one of the top-performing stores in Moss’s 114-store portfolio, the Oxford Street West site was thriving prior to its refurbishment. The redesign has further enhanced the space, aligning it with the company’s vision for experience-led retail. The reopening sets the tone for further expansion, with new stores scheduled to open at Birmingham’s Bullring on 31 May and at Manchester’s Trafford Centre later this summer.

The updated flagship introduces a curated presentation of Moss’s newest collections. The store’s stripped-back design and refined layout place emphasis on product quality and craftsmanship. These collections blend traditional tailoring with modern sensibilities, offering everything from Italian-made suits to relaxed suiting and elevated casualwear. The products are sourced in collaboration with renowned Italian mills such as Ferla, Barberis and E. Thomas.

Leading the store is manager Peter Akinnola, a long-standing retail expert who noted, “Our customers want to look good without having to overthink it. They’re looking for pieces that offer confidence and versatility and advice they can trust. That’s what we deliver at Moss.”

The refurbishment is part of Moss’s wider rebranding efforts, including the recent decision to drop ‘Bros’ from its public-facing name. Now simply Moss, the brand’s refreshed identity reflects a broader retail proposition, offering ready-to-wear, hire and custom-made options through appointments with in-store style experts.

With the Oxford Street West reopening, Moss aims to provide a destination shopping experience underpinned by craftsmanship, innovation and service.
