Sephora UK has confirmed that it will open a second store in Manchester on 1 August 2025, this time located at the Arndale Centre, marking its 10th location nationwide. The opening follows the retailer’s first Manchester branch at The Trafford Centre, which launched in 2024.
The 4,618 sq ft store will be positioned in the heart of the city, aiming to serve shoppers across the city centre including students, professionals, and tourists. This expansion reflects Sephora’s continued strategy of embedding itself within high-footfall urban centres, complementing its broader UK rollout.

Sarah Boyd, Managing Director at Sephora UK, commented: “Manchester showed us phenomenal support when we opened our first store in the region, which blew away all our expectations. We are thrilled bringing a second beauty playground to our customers in this vibrant and culturally rich city, allowing us to reach even more shoppers with a city centre location at Arndale.”
Steve Gray, Head of European Retail Asset Management at Global Mutual, joint asset managers for Manchester Arndale, added: “The arrival of Sephora cements Manchester Arndale’s position as the home of health and beauty in the North West. Our diverse range of brands helps to attract shoppers from across the region keen to explore the vast array of products available.”
The Arndale store will feature Sephora’s usual suite of services, including personalised beauty consultations, gift wrapping, engraving, and a dedicated section for app-based loyalty members via the MySephora programme.
The Manchester Arndale launch forms part of Sephora UK’s ongoing expansion, with other stores scheduled to open this year in Sheffield Meadowhall (11 July), Cardiff St David’s and Oxford Westgate later in the autumn.
